Ask Doctor Grover - Is Dual Pane the best technique for Breast Implants Surgery?
I prefer to use a dual plane, partial retropectoral technique for most of my breast augmentation patients because, in my hands, I feel it offers the nicest, most natural results. I feel it offers benefits of both the submuscular technique and subglandular technique.

Ask Doctor Grover - Breast Lift Options
If you desire to have your breasts lifted, you should undergo a surgical breast lift. There are many different techniques offered for different patients by different surgeons.
You should seek a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to evaluate your breasts and determine what is your best option.
There are some who have marketed breast lifts with ’sutures’ of ‘Botox’, but this does not appear to be a valid option.

Ask Doctor Grover - Implants Don’t ‘Fall Out’ of their pocket
Patients may sometimes incorrectly feel that their implants have ‘fallen out’ of their pocket. The implants do not have anywhere else to go. When patients describe this, they are usually affected by an overly large pocket which may allow the implant to move outwards towards the underarm. This can often be corrected with internal sutures or a lateral capsulorraphy.

Orange County Breast Reduction Surgery - An Outpatient Procedure
Most breast reductions are performed as outpatient procedures. Pain is usually limited following a breast reducution and well controlled with oral pain medications. There may be rare instances when a patient’s medical condition warrants an overnight hospitalization following breast reduction.

Recovery from Breast Augmentation Breast Implant surgery is a very individualized process, but there are some common effects one can expect. Bruising and swelling are, of course, normal. Newport Beach Breast Augmentation Breast Implant Surgeon Dr. Sanjay Grovermay instruct you to use cold compresses for the first 48 hours after surgery to reduce swelling and discomfort. Recovery time is different for everyone, but a minimum of 5-7 days of resting with very little physical activity is recommended. In addition, observance of 10 -14 days without strenuous physical exercise is essential, in order for the incisions to heal and swelling to reduce. Increasing your fluid intake and mild exercise such as easy walking is recommended. Finally, it is important that no heavy lifting and no lifting above the head be performed from 4-6 weeks after surgery.
