Breast Lift Newport Beach
Changes in the shape of a women’s breast are common due to fluctuations in weight, the effects of nursing, and the aging process. Over time elasticity of the skin and delicate breast tissue breaks down causing droopiness and sagging of the breasts. At The Center for Aesthetic Plastic surgery, Dr. Grover can perform a breast lift to restore a more youthful appearance to the breasts. Breast lifts, which focus on enhancing the shape of the breast, may be combined with a breast augmentation to increase firmness and restore lost volume to sagging breasts.
A breast lift procedure may take Dr. Grover about 3 hours to complete, his priority is on flawless, natural looking results, so he takes his time with each surgery. During surgery redundant skin is removed and the nipple is repositioned for a more attractive appearance. Incisions for a breast lift may range from the common anchor shape, under the areola and around the natural curve of the breast to a lollipop, under the areola and down the center of the breast, to a circular incision, which is focused around the areola.
Dr Grover will evaluate the extent of the patients skin laxity and decide which procedure will best aid that person in attaining the youthful, sexy breast shape they desire.
Dr Grover makes it a priority to be intrinsically involved in your recovery process. He monitors his patient’s healing at each post procedure office visit and maintains regular communication to ensure patient’s confidence and comfort.
Your recovery time will vary usually light activity and a return to work can be resumed after about a week. Gentle massage is indicated to promote healing and a sports bra provides support as you recover. Strenuous activity should be postponed for about a month after surgery. Some discomfort and bruising are likely with a breast lift, however, Dr. Grover and his exceptionally caring staff will ensure that your pain is managed and you are supported throughout your healing process.
