Breast Augmentation Procedures In Los Angeles By Dr. Grover

October 29th, 2009

When undergoing breast augmentation for procedures such as breast implants, or breast lifts, it is important to be aware that the implant must be changed periodically over the years. This procedure is called a breast revision and should be understood for anyone looking to take part in breast augmentation surgery. Specifically, breast revision or breast implant exchange is the surgical removal of an old implant and removing the surrounding scar tissue. A breast implant exchange would also be necessary for women who have developed a capsular contracture. In addition, women who have had breast augmentation and are unhappy with the results or would like their implants to be larger or smaller may elect to have an implant exchange. It is important to understand these medical procedures during the pre-op process to make sure that breast augmentation is right for you. As stated before, Dr. Grover gives the utmost care and attention to his patients to ensure that their surgical experience is a positive one.
