The Procedure
A typical liposuction procedure removes 5-10 lbs of fat, although more or less can be removed depending on the patients needs. The treatment consists of a metal tube called a cannula being inserted in to the body via incision. Excess body fat is removed with a vacuum device through the tube, leaving the body leaner, sleeker and more youthful.
In line with his passion for perfection, Dr. Grover has assessed every type of liposuction on the market and finds he can deliver the best results with power-assisted liposuction. This is the most common form of liposuction employed at his Beverly Hills and Newport Beach offices, for the simple reason that it enables his to deliver consistent, gorgeous results.
Recovery
Depending on the scope and location/locations of your liposuction, your healing time may vary, however most patients can usually return to work after about 1-2 weeks of recovery. Dr. Grover recommends that more strenuous activity be resumed after 4-6 weeks.
Dr Grover is intrinsically involved in his patient’s after care. He monitors his patient’s healing and recovery at each post procedure office visit and maintains regular communication to ensure patient confidence and comfort. Though some discomfort is likely with liposuction, Dr Grover and his staff at The Center for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery will work together to make sure you are supported at every step in the treatment process.
